Ark Technologies, a London-based financial technology provider, has rolled out a major infrastructure upgrade to its flagship trading platform, Ark Trader—and the results are already turning heads in the brokerage world. By addressing longstanding latency issues and enhancing system stability, the platform has significantly reduced execution times and seen a dramatic increase in daily trading volumes.
Execution Time Cut by Over 50% Without Changing a Single Line of Code
The most remarkable part of this upgrade? Ark Technologies didn’t touch its application code. Instead, they focused entirely on improving their server infrastructure and network optimization. Prior to the change, users were experiencing latency in the range of 400–500 milliseconds. Now, response times have dropped to just around 180 milliseconds—a more than 50% reduction.
Iyad Yasser, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Ark Technologies, confirmed that these improvements were purely infrastructure-based. “We didn’t rewrite anything in our software. Everything we did was at the network and hardware level,” he explained.
This adjustment had a profound impact. For one of their key broker partners, daily trade volume surged from around 400,000 transactions to over 700,000, marking an impressive 75% increase in activity.
Global Infrastructure Migration Completed in Two Months
To accomplish this, Ark Technologies moved over 50 servers to a more robust and globally-distributed network managed by a specialized hosting provider. This shift included deploying dedicated IPs, regional proxy servers, and establishing new data routes in major financial hubs like Amsterdam, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
The infrastructure partner also worked closely with Ark to resolve persistent IP blacklisting issues that had been disrupting connections for a large portion of the user base—particularly in countries such as India, Pakistan, and other parts of the Middle East. With dedicated IPs and proxies now in place, clients in those regions are experiencing more stable and reliable connectivity.
Technical Improvements Drive Business Growth
The system upgrade wasn’t just a technical win—it translated directly into business growth. Brokers using Ark Trader reported faster execution, improved client satisfaction, and an influx of new users—particularly in regions where network issues had previously deterred onboarding.
One of the key advantages brought by the new hosting partner was not only the speed but also reliability. New backup and recovery systems were also introduced, ensuring better uptime and disaster resilience.
The success of the migration has helped Ark Technologies scale its business rapidly across the Middle East and South Asia, where word-of-mouth referrals and improved platform performance have fueled an uptick in broker signups.
Milliseconds Matter in Financial Markets
In the highly competitive FX and CFD trading industry, execution speed is a core metric. A difference of even 50 milliseconds can influence whether a trade is profitable or not. With Ark Trader now offering sub-200 ms execution times, brokers are better equipped to handle high-frequency trading strategies and large volumes of client orders.
This change puts Ark in the same league as other fast-moving fintechs embracing high-performance infrastructures. For example, Axi recently integrated low-latency tech to process up to 500,000 orders per second, reflecting an industry-wide shift toward performance-driven platforms.
Looking Ahead
Ark Technologies plans to continue building on this momentum, with further enhancements in security, data analytics, and AI-based tools on the roadmap. With a future-proofed infrastructure and a renewed focus on client experience, the company is well-positioned to become a major player in the global trading platform space.
